After adopting and implementing the design of a pro-type SAAB dealership for VOB, DNC was commissioned to design a Contemporary Showroom for the VOB Première BMW dealership in Rockville, MD, to reflect the European styling and imagery presented by BMW.
The building is approximately 50,000 square feet, three stories in height and contains: two showrooms, the BMW “Life Styles Boutique”, administration, sales offices and support spaces as well as the home of the “M Gallery”. This area was developed as a specialty gallery where the customer can view the past and the future of BMW, concept cars, photos and models as well as interactive displays focusing on the manufacturer, the car and the user.
DNC was the Architect of Record and teamed with Michael Marshall to design a state of the art showroom with an abutting parking structure.
James G. Davis Construction Corporation (DAVIS) was the General Contractor for this project.
