Project Types
DNC Architects have designed thousands of buildings and spaces across a wide range of project types as generally described below. For some project types like commercial office, laboratory and retail, they have hundreds of successful commissions to their credit. Others are more “one-of-a-kind” like a Chimp House for the Baltimore Zoo, a 250,000 SF, five-story secure and shielded data center (where they invented and patented a reliable shielding system and a doorless access device), a blast-proof operations center, or the first distillery in Montgomery County since the end prohibition. DNC have been able to successfully accomplish new and unique projects by committing to research, analysis and testing as required to assure a successful project.
